Labotemp Cryostat Microtome CRM-01, also known as a freezing microtome or cryotome, is a specialized microtome machine used in microtomy in histopathology for rapid frozen tissue sectioning. Designed for precise cryostat sectioning of fresh and frozen tissue, the CRM-01 supports accurate intraoperative diagnosis and urgent pathology workflows. This advanced cryostat microtome produces uniform thin sections with an adjustable cut thickness from 0.5 µm to 100 µm, enabling reliable microtomy and consistent sample preparation for laboratory microscopy.

The fully enclosed cryogenic chamber operates from 0°C to –60°C, providing stable freezing conditions for dependable performance. Controlled specimen movement with 65 mm vertical stroke, 22 mm horizontal stroke, and 100 µm specimen retraction improves section quality and protects the blade. A rigid microtome blade holder supports disposable microtome blades and microtome knives, maintaining a clean cutting edge for reproducible sections.
